Mike Ile, in a rare interview, has lashed out against some persons who made
posts mocking him after he deactivated his Facebook account. He expressed
shock that deactivation could be taken as proof of guilt in an educated
nation like Nigeria. He said, "But I am not surprised. It is proof of what
was prophesied already. It does not matter what good you do, when the world
comes for you, it is usually brutal. I have made enemies because I refuse
to be taken for granted by a lot of these idiots who imagine I would live
by their standards and accept every rubbish thrown at me. Women who beg for
sex inbox, people who failed in our business arrangements, people I blocked
on Facebook, some of those with who I share serious political differences,
and of course, some bitter people from the past."
Mike Ile is writing a book due to be published this year. He said that the
book exposes the conspiracy and those behind It, as well as many people who
made false allegations against him. He promised to provide evidence for the
world to see.
"These people forget how good and relentless an investigator I am. When I
handled the Queens College matter, they came for me. But I was right about
it all. The federal government investigated and found same things I had
first discovered and reported. That case in Ibadan about the lawyer who
killed her husband, was I wrong? Has she not been jailed? I could go on and
on. What the cop and his cohorts do not know is that as people agreed to
help him tell lies and half truths, some of same people will expose him and
his gang. My book will reveal it all."
But he agreed to speak about some of the minor cases, people he says are
irrelevant but who lied nonetheless.
RHAMCEE MUNAH: This light skinned dude who calls himself "Ashawo kobo kobo"
made a post calling Mike all sorts of names. He even mocked him for
"packaging" and all sorts of derogatory stuff. When Mike saw comments made
by RHAMCEE, he almost broke down in tears. The history between Mike and
Rhamcee is short and one sided. They are not friends. Mike made a post
announcing he was going to eat at Iya Oyo and Rhamcee followed a friend
there. That friend is Agbala Nwanyi on Facebook. Mike paid for the food
eaten. RHAMCEE took Mike's number and a few days later, engaged Mike inbox,
begging for accommodation (see chats below).
So Mike, who was already broke but had some slush funds from donors that he
kept for discretionary charity use, helped to lodge Rhamcee in a guest
house to save him from sleeping under a bridge. Mike also gave up his
feeding slot in a nearby restaurant in Kado estate so that Rhamcee could
eat all through his stay in that place.
To even understand the context of Mike's benevolence, he was paying for
Rhamcee's room but owed on his own room because he would not use charity
money for personal use. A close friend, Kate Bassey, was aware of this
situation at the time. Mike never announced this on Facebook just to save
the dude from embarrassment. After Rhamcee left Abuja, he called Mike on
two occasions to thank him for helping out. That is the only history
between Mike and Rhamcee. How can such a person repay Mike by writing any
negative stuff about him? What a shame.
SPIRIT BEING: This short girl with a loud mouth and dual personality also
had a similar issue. She was coming to Abuja and didn't have a place to
stay. Mike gave her same room he had given to Rhamcee. He was paying for
the room but didn't have money to take care of his own personal needs. Even
Spirit Being would remember that Mike was playing about depression within
that period. She also asked him what the matter was and tried to encourage
him that all would be well. After some days, she called Mike to inform him
that someone was coming to pick her from the hotel to a house where she
would be staying. Mike was not even in Abuja that day. How can such a
person write evil stuff about Mike?
In fact, that period, Kate Bassey was very firm when she reproached Mike
for being too nice in.. ...a period when he did not have enough. Mike made
it clear he could not know someone needed such assistance and fail them.
Spirit Being only called Mike once after she left that place. To read her
lies and ungrateful comments smack of betrayal. Mike closed by saying he
would reveal all. There are suggestions that he may possess video and audio
evidence of stuff he has refused to speak about for now. When I asked him,
he smiled and said "Leave that matter. She is just a child who does not
know what she's doing yet".
BENNY UMOREN: This one is a funny old lady. She has traversed Facebook
calling Mike a fraudster when he did not defraud her. If anything, she may
have defrauded him on a deal they supoosedly had with the Rivers state
government.
So Benny arrived Abuja last year and came on Facebook to ask for Mike's
number. She invited him to her hotel in Garki. They went to Eden garden and
had a moment. Upon return to her hotel, when Mike wanted to leave, she
said, "You mean you are not sleeping over?" This was around 1am. Mike
stayed for a while. Benny asked for "head" and got it (I listened to the
audio recording). People underestimate how deep Mike goes when it comes to
recird keeping. He said that in his handling of the Queens College matter,
he had come to realise the depth people will go to pull a man down and that
he has ever since then approached everyone in his life with extreme caution
even in times of trust.
Now.....Benny called Mike up and asked him to write a proposal to the
government of Rivers state and send it through her, claiming that she had
discussed with her link man in the government. Mike made a very detailed
proposal. Benny insisted that her cut be included in the budget. She kept
updating Mike about the progress of the proposal. Right about the time she
claimed that the governor had it on his desk, she stopped seeing Mike.
Every time they had to see, she would find some excuse. Mike began to
wonder why she was dodgy at such a critical time. Then she came up with
some cock and bull story, claiming that she was dodging because she had
fallen in love with Mike and didn't want to mess up.
Mike had told me then that he wondered what love had to do with the
business at hand, and why she chose that important moment to make such an
excuse. Till date, Mike never knew what became of his proposal and perhaps,
money. He had sent the proposal to her and she claimed to have forwarded it
to the governor. Did She? Did she change the company name and claim
ownership of the proposal, merely making use of Mike's brilliance? Why did
she choose that moment to start dodging and claiming love?
Where and how did Mike defraud her, for her to be going about social media
with such gusto? If Mike didn't record all their conversations, I may also
have doubted his defence. But this life us a funny place though. People are
wicked.
Part 2 of this post will reveal some further names and little details. Mike
is waiting for court hearings to expose the really big fish with alarming
evidence. No matter what damage these guys think they did to him, it seems
they have messed with the wrong guy.
I asked him why he didn't reveal these stuff on Facebook all the while and
he gave me the coldest stare I ever saw on him. He asked, "Did you ever
read THE ART OF WAR by Sun Tzu?"
He said the most valuable lesson he learned from that book was, "When you
are strong in reality, appear to be weak. When brave, appear to be
cowardly...."
He said that this case with Remi Adeoye and his 'Facebook committee of
judges' has not even yet began. "What else do they have to say about me?
And I have not started to speak yet. Let them say I am finished. It's good
for me. They even sent idiots after my life. But there is a God of real
justice and He is not on Facebook. Thank you".
