Opinion Needed!

Your brother in law, who for reasons best know to him and Jesus can not stand you, hates you with a passion and you have since then accepted it and stayed on your lane.

Now ,this brother in law is getting married; during his traditional wedding , he made it clear that he doesn’t want you to get involved; and as usual, you still maintained and stayed on your lane.

Now after his trad, he called your husband, his elder brother, to request that your six years old son, be the page boy in his wedding train.  Your husband/his elder brother agreed ooo; but was like , biko you have to call my and let her know.
So that you two can coordinate , like what you will like my son to wear and all that and your brother in law refused and picked offence.

Of course this lady’s husband was being diplomatic because he knows under normal circumstances, his brother should call his wife and not him. And doesn’t want anyone to look down on his wife.

The brother in law’s reason for refusal is;why does he need to call you to ask for permission/consent to use “nwa anyi”, (our son), as his page boy after he has spoken with your husband/his brother already? Nwa anyi meaning the child belongs to the man. Your husband. And that’s where I have a problem. If you believe that a child belongs to your brother and not both of them , then you are mad!
That your son is ,”nwa anyi”. Meaning , that you don’t have a say, your son is their own ; you probably a birth chamber/channel through which the boy came into this world. “Our son” hence, you shouldn’t have a say.

But let’s put emotions aside; women what do you think this lady should do now as the wedding is coming up soon in December?Men , what will be your reaction?
