Her freedom of religion is not absolute and does not supercede the freedom of association. The legal profession is an association with set professional ethics and therefore she cannot, without compulsion, join the legal profession and then refuse to comply or conform with its ethics. There is no iota of success in her case and her indiscretion should be met with severe punishment.

Of course so therefore volenti non fit injuria applies. U can't voluntarily join a profession with set guidelines and cry foul. The professional ethics have been in existence before she even became a law student.

I believe the Catholic nuns who discard their apparels on call to bar day also have vows to keep, likewise the white garment members who are not allowed to walk into the call to bar ceremony barefooted and the traditionalists who will love to have their charms and chains dangling around their waist and neck too. Legal profession should be distinguished from religious association. Law is neither religion nor morality.
